Rough Grading

Rough grading is a general shaping of the build site. With heavy earth-moving equipment, we can level your site or create slopes, hills, embankments, and terraces according to your land plan. A rough grade is finished slightly below the final grade to leave room for topsoil.

Rough grading season lasts from approximately June through September, when there is no frost on the ground.
